A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched Amazon’s KF-03 mission sending another 24 Kuiper satellites to low Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 10:58 p.m. on 13 October 2025, bringing the total number of Kuiper spacecraft launched to date to 153 satellites. This is the second flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched KF-02. After stage separation, Falcon 9's first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Falcon 9 deployed the satellites at an altitude of 289 miles (465 kilometers) above Earth, at which point the Kuiper team takes command from the mission operations center in Redmond, Washington. From there, initial satellite health checks are performed in preparation to raise the satellites to their assigned altitude of 392 miles (630 km), where they will be fully commissioned as part of the Kuiper operational satellite constellation.
