A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the Nusantara Lima mission to geosynchronous transfer orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 9:56 p.m. on 11 September 2025. Following stage separation, Falcon 9's first stage landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This is the 23rd flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously supported Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-b, USSF-124, BlueBird 1-5, and 18 Starlink missions. |

Satelit Nusantara Lima (SNL) is an Indonesian satellite service provider company established in 2021. SNL is developing a satellite system called Nusantara Lima (N5) satellite. The N5 satellite will be placed above the equator at 113 east longitudes. The N5 satellite is being built by Boeing using 702MP VHTS (Very High Throughput Satellite) technology with an estimated capacity of 160 Gbps and coverage over Southeast Asia region. The N5 satellite is expected to be ready for service at 2026, with launch schedule at 2025 using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launcher. (Image Credit: Boeing) |
